unfrozen
Just finished this today. It's a Rainshadow RX8 XSW68MX walleye rod. The zirconium guides were laid out using the new guide concept with the 27X method followed by static testing. I turned a matching eastern red cedar handle and reel seat. It's also got the owners initials inlaid into the butt of the rod plus a decorative scales wrap.

c0untryf1sh3r
Excellent work Chad. How difficult was it to keep that knot from chipping out when you were turning the handle? Gives it some more character.
unfrozen
They've never really given me much problem, unless the surrounding wood is punky. Plus, I use a carbide tipped tool when I rough them out.
