hi just wondering how people do buying used. tackle boxes, lures like crankbaits, bobbers jigs etc. how do you figure price so much per rapala or what it is. just wondering i would like to garage sale or possibly buy online from the big e any thoughts do you save much or is it better to just buy what yo want thanks

You can usually save a lot at garage sales. The thing with garage sale lures though is they can be pretty hit and miss. Don't expect every crankbait you buy at one to run true.

The same could be said for crankbaits at any retail store too though.

Yeah, it's tough to generalize about this issue. I usually buy pretty much anything I see that appears to be in decent shape and of decent quality. Most of the stuff at garage sales is dirt cheap, though once in a while I'll find some guy who wants $5 for his 15 yr old, chewed-up, rusty-hooked Rapala.

Garage sale tackle and lures can be great buys at times!

You just will have to inspect them before you buy.

I never pay more then 1/2 price for lures in good condition and usually much less.

Rods, reels, etc. can be some real steals!
