MinnKota Charger evaluation

I have a 3 bank charger that I would like to get checked out. It has a tendency to boil out one of the batteries and now I have a red light when I plug it in. This was installed at the dealer when I purchased new a few years ago and nothing has changed other than a battery replacement. Where in the west metro would you recommend.

I would suggest you call direct to Minnkota. I called them last week for a 2 year old trolling motor with issues. They said it was under warranty and they even fixed something that was owner error for free. The tech person I talked to waas very helpful.

One ??? Have you tried switching the batteries around to see if it is just the battery? You comment on it only doing it to one battery is a concerns to me. That would give the people at MK some extra info to help you. My2cent

Had similar issue with my minnkota 2 bank. One side would charge and other would stay red, meaning check connection. In both instances this happened, it was at first time plugging in for the year after sitting all winter. Just had to put a regular charger on the one battery that was red to get a little charge in it and then on board charger would work. Would work fine rest of year then and batteries worked fine. Don't know if one battery is bad or just drains fully over the winter and other one doesn't. Like I said, works fine after getting it charged.
