Esox_Magnum
I have an Alsakan Guide series 3x12x52 30mm mounted on my 300wm and my brothers 300 RUM, both have been flawless for the past 10-12 years.... Neither have needed adjusted since being first sighted in.... We got ours in the bargin cave for $119 and as good as any scoped we have costing 5X the price.... NoWiser
You can't go wrong with Leupold. I have a VX-III and love it. The scope is every bit as important as the rifle. Get a good scope and you can be confident in every single shot you take. I haven't needed to touch mine since the day I first sighted it in 7 years ago. The Nikon Monarchs are also very nice scopes. If I had to buy a new scope tomorrow, those are the first two I would look at.

harvey lee
I have had a Bushnell Elite 4200 I believe it is on my 300 for 4-5 years and have had zero issues with it. I like the Luepold scopes but for the money, this Elite scope is pretty darn good and the glass is not bad either.
TonkaBass
Nikon makes a nice scope and they shouldn't be thrown out of this either.
S.D. Ice Angular
There are many nice scopes out there, But I don't care what anyone says, you get what you pay for. I prefer the Leuplod Vari X III.I have some cheap ones also but the clarity is worth every penny on the Vari X III
fishattacker
I have a Zeiss Conquest 3-9X40 on my .300 WSM. I like it a lot, everything is very crisp.I also have a Weaver V16 on my .223. Pretty decent scope for what I paid. I heard the Weaver Super Slams were pretty good scopes. My dad has a Sightron SII and likes his scope a lot as well.Good luck and have a good trip this fall.
