Model 30 jiffy ripper blade sharpening in the Metro area

Hi,

I just picked up a used Model 30, and both sets of blades that came with it are shot. I am looking for some info on shops in the metro that would sharpen them up... thanks!

Also, What are your thoughts on the 30? Coming from Eskimo and Strikemaster, it seems to be a completely different feeling. LOUD, raw power - with the dull blade, it was a tough go to cut a few holes this afternoon. It is kind of like running a Harley next to a Goldwing.....

I vaguely remember running a 30 for a few holes about 10 years ago. It seemed to cut something fierce. These blades must really be in sad shape.

There are alot of guys on here that run them and love them. There is nothing on the ice that sounds like the model 30. Good luck should be able to do an exchange for new or sharpened blades at a bait shop.
