Rip in Ice Armor

I put a 5 inch rip in my Ice Armor (Blue Suit) bibs yesterday. Is there a good product out there that will seal it up tight. I don't think a needle and thread is the way to go with this material.

I have used Marine Goop on air mattress leaks and it hold up real well. It is a little messy so you need to be careful. Goop dries clear and is flexable too.

I had both inner leg seams rip from top to bottom on my 7 day old X suit last year. The seamstress said she couldn't do a waterproof stitch. A few days later two seam rips occured on the jacket.

I brought the suit back and got my money back...

Funny thing is my blue suit has had two tiny seam rips and it was purchased first year on the market. One was on the inner liner on the jacket were the loop to hang up is the other on the crotch of the pants.

I would check and see if the company offers a repair kit in your color. If not, as Dtro stated, tear mender is great stuff for this application.
