hunt&fish89 Posted November 14, 2011 Share Posted November 14, 2011 Im headed out to South Dakota over Thanksgiving weekend with some buddies that live out there...They keep telling me we will have no problem finding birds although i believe them seeing some ice on small ponds this weekend has me a little worried what do you guys think??? Thats 90% of the battle. the other 10% is you getting there.Whats ice got to do with pheasant hunting?Im finished going out there till the weather changes (for the worse). rundrave Posted November 14, 2011 Share Posted November 14, 2011 I was hoping for ice by thanksgiving, we have been well above normal for temps and its supposed to be really windy this week.
