Big Tom
Nice to see the promotion for my All-Time favorite Twin. It's interesting though considering his career average is .245.MINNEAPOLIS -- The Triple-A Rochester Red Wings announced Wednesday that former Twins outfielder Tom Brunansky has been named the club's hitting coach. Brunansky, 51, was also in Minnesota's organization last season, serving as the hitting coach for Double-A New Britain. He joined the organization in 2010 as a coach with the Gulf Coast League Twins before becoming New Britain's hitting coach. Brunansky played 14 seasons in the Majors, including seven with the Twins (1982-88), and finished his career with a .245 batting average, 271 home runs and 919 RBIs in 1,800 games while also playing with the Angels, Cardinals, Red Sox and Brewers.
