I work at a fast food joint and it's not that I hate my job but the same thing day after day gets real old real quick. I'm the type of person that likes a challenge and working a basically dead end job is not something I'm too thrilled about. The upside is that the people I work with are a great group of people and were all like family minus a couple idiots that have caused a couple kerfuffles. The wife and I aren't making loads of money but were making enough to pay the bills and have some fun every once in a while.

I apologize in advance for my rant and I'm not trying to hijack this thread or direct this towards anyone, but we have a daughter and even though my job may not be my dream job I still get up and go to work to make sure they have everything they need, thats the bottom line IMO.

And to everyone else that has kids, even if you hate your job and have to drag yourself out of bed every morning, just try and make the best of it and do what you have to do to give them what they need and be able to go fishing. Again I'm not trying to offend anyone, thats just my 2 cents.

Not all that glitters is gold. If you pretty much enjoy the people you work with and the atmosphere there, the money is a lesser thing. But heck keep your eyes peeled if you are good worker and it shows with your jobs, and you can get a good reference you may find someone will put your work ethic to good use and better pay.
