ADVICE: Light Rail to target field

Going to the Twins game on sunday, would it be better to get on the light rail at the MOA or at Fort Snelling? How long will it take to get downtown and I am going to scalp some tix, will that be a problem to find them before the game.

It's about 45 minutes from MOA. Technically speaking there isn't light rail parking at MOA but of course there is plenty of parking and many do park there. Either place would be fine but you would have a better chance of getting preferred seating launching from MOA versus Fort Snelling.

Good luck and Go Twins!

My experience is it can get crowded by the time it gets to Ft Snelling/Federal Building. Catch it at the 28th street Park and Ride. Free in ramp covered parking and a much shorter walk to the Transit station. Cash person attended ticket selling or Card only machines inside and outside. and it cuts the ride time from MOA by 8-10 min. Chicago game could be a busy one.

if you are going early make sure to buy the day pass. it'll save you. if your event pass expires they will make you buy a new one as they check everyone's ticket after the game. 8bucks vs 6 (per pass)

also don't expect to leave in a hurry. unless you leave in the 8th/top 9th it will take you ~1-1.5 hours to get back to the mall. seems EVERYONE goes that route. also be prepared for rude airline employees pushing and shoving on the way back.

get their early if you need tickets last night all scalpers had left by 2 hours prior was standing room only (but it was Kent Hrbek/Ron Gant bobblehead night)

Thanks for the advice, nice day, got on the light rail at the 28th ave. station, 35 minutes to target. Met the guy I bought tix from on C. list, great seats in the legend section. Great time, great stadium, too bad the twins can't hit or pitch. The ride back was crowded but not bad at all.
