Report: Had a great trip! Walleyes where shallow. Fished from 3-8 feet of water. Caught hundreds. Just the wife and I on this trip. Walleyes hit anything you put on. Find a hole and catch them on every cast. Fishing here is alot like one of Wright lake portages, Strout Lake. Very shallow lake and lots of walleye. Largest pike 37 inches. Wildlife, Moose and Bear on the drive up to Dryden, and saw a Woodland Caribou and Grouse with 4 chicks at the lake. Thanks again Adams Family. Will see you again in August to try Fawcett Lake.

Lake: Dobie

Dates: 6/28-7/3/2011

Group: Ardelan (Man Trip 2011)

Report: Great lake for pike and walleye. Caught lots of pike. Fish house was very convenient. Mary and Larry were very helpful in preparing for the trip. The only issues we had were 1) No anchors in boats 2) Ovens didnt work and we had food prepared for the oven. Note from L & M: Plan on having the oven issue resolved ASAP and the anchors we do not supply. Rock and rope works well for a boat anchor.
