Lake: Fishtrap

Dates: 7/25-7/30/2010

Group: Hinson

Report: Extremely smooth flights, great service, nicely equiped cabin. Tough fishing to start the trip off. Fish not relationg to the visible structure. Depth finder very useful to locate the fish on the humps. Later in the week, smallmouth, pike, and large walleyes feeding on schools of perch in the southern bay just before the narrows. Walleyes were easiest to locate in the portage lake to the east of Fishtrap. Easy portage and good equipment there. Of course, our rookie, John, outfished the whole group! Thanks Shane, Larry, and Mary for making this a great trip. Buscuits next time!
