Is anyone out there willing to share some locations for cats near Williston? I am headed out this weekend to do some paddle fish snagging with a friend and hope to get some catfishing in as well. Any information would be helpful. I have never been near the area.

I may be able to get some suggestions from contacts in the Williston area. I live in Minot but will be working at the confluence. Right now water is extremely high and fast. Also we just had a powerful winter storm. Power is out in all of western ND including Williston. It may be a couple of days yet before its restored. Get in touch with me when you get here and I will try to help any way I can.

Thank you Greg. I have a former student who is living in Williston now and has been paddlefish snagging but never done cats before. We have been talking today about the storm and it was a doozy. Power is still out as of this morning. I work with KEYZ 660 and they have been off the air for a day and 1/2. Latest guess is power will be restored sometime late today.
