MapSD
The NWS is saying the lake will rise 2' to 4'. The lake is already full now. Most of our lakes and rivers are full and overflowing. This might go in the record books for a long time.
fishinfey8
Does this mean another boom cycle in the future as far as walleye and fishing in general? Also, I do feel bad for those who are loosing cabins, homes or land...
MapSD
With all the flooded backwater areas this may be a great help for this years spawn. Along with the fact there may be limited access this year to ramps because of flooded roads. Lake Thompson was one of the few lakes that had natural reproduction in the past. 3 to 5 years from now the fishing maybe outstanding. rundrave
did they get much rain with the storm that came throught last night? I cant imagine that any extra water up there would be of any help.
carpshooterdeluxe
I can't imagine the fishing getting much better than it was for me this winter up there. I envision many days this coming fall of cast and blast for mallards and perch!
