Counting down till opening morning and I am pumped. Brought the bows in to Gander today and had a new rest put on the hunting bow and target bow and did some shooting now I got the itch bad going to head to the local shop this weekend set up the double bull blind and shoot turkeys on the video screen.

i got 15 days till my opener, im ready to go now the weather is perfect down there and the birds are everywhere.

Will be hunting by March 31st cannot wait. New arrows ordered, fixed my sight.

No snow in NE and 70 yesterday. Heading down to scout on Saturday. That will make the following couple weeks go even slower.

24 days before I hit Kansas. Been shooting the bow a lot, and shooting pretty good. Gawd the days just crawl this time of year.

8 days before I start off with some soft tree yelps in Nebraska! With the nice warm spring down there - we should be hitting it perfect. I sure do love this time of year!

I was out cutting some shooting lanes by a deer stand this week and I saw some fresh turkey tracks. Its getting me pumped up!
