Google Chrome not playing nice with pdf's

Recommended Posts

I'm still running IE8. Might have to upgrade and give it whirl.

Wow! I upgraded and I must say I am impressed. I would say it might even be faster than Google now. Going to have to give it a good run for a while and see how things go.

Well this doesn't make any sense, but it works and that's all that matters.....

I disabled BOTH adobe and Google PDF plugins and now it works.

Go figure.

Your PC must be a child because that is what my kids do. Tell them not to and they do it.

I was having similar problems with Adobe so I checked around and found Foxit on cnet downloads.Loads pdf's perfectly on Chrome and it's only 15mb instead of the 100+ for Adobe. Plus Foxit isn't constantly updating and asking me to install stuff. Much better program IMO.. I only use it as a reader. To craete PDF's I use Open Office Word processor program and convert it to PDF when I'm done.
