on a side note....I LOVE the scoreboard in right field. It'll be nice for guys like me with seats in leftfield.(although I still have to see Delmon struggle with flyballs up close)

The only change I didn't like was the spruce trees being pulled from center field. "I can't hit the ball, it's too distracting, blah, blah, blah." I thought they gave the outfield an authentic Minnesota flair. Are they going to add anything out there, or just stick with the neutral background?

I agree, it sure doesn't look/feel the same without the spruce trees. Perhaps a line of full-size taxidermy mounts would bring back the feel of MN to the ballpark? Hit the vitals on the moose and fans get a free Target Field dog?

I heard last night that ALL the batters had problems with the background. Even the umpires said they had a hard time seeing the ball. Most ballparks just have an ugly empty space back there, I'd guess that's all we're going to end up with too, an ugly empty space.
