Superduty
Has anybody seen these around town? I'm looking for the new ones built on the 3700 size footprint.
RK
Haven't seen any of the 3700 size locally yet. Not even online yet most places. I love the FTO system, but always hated that they were odd sized. Switching over to the new ones and decided to use the 3600 size for hard baits like cranks. Forced me to thin the herd quite a bit, which is good. Still cant beat the 501 and 502 for jigs and terminal tackle, although the jig box is worthless... Of course, I now have a bunch of the old crankbait boxes taking up space in my fishing room. I'll use 'em for something Cheers, Rob Kimm
Superduty
I found a couple places online with the 3700 but only 3600 locally. I'm curious as to how zara spook type baits fit in these too. I hate grabbing 4 baits at one time with 8-12 trebles wadded together!
RK
I gave up on the FTOs for topwaters and just kept them in a regular Stowaway, although the Lipless Crank FTO box wasn't bad. Don't know if there will be something similar in the new Plano versions. All I've seen is large and med cranks, and the spinnerbait and buzzbait boxes. Cecil
I love my FTO's, but I get torn between having more organization and more lures. I'm sure most bass guys will know who wins that battle. The spinner-bait one and buzzbait ones are good since I don't throw those much. Made me really justify every lure I put in the box - especially hardbaits. Eliminated a lot of dead weight in the process, and probably won't miss any of it. I did the same with muskie lures a few years ago and am convinced I catch more fish as a result. Will see if the same holds true for bass...
