PFUNK
Hey all... just got a new sonar/gps combo unit, the Humminbird 385ci. It has the capability to record the sonar readings so that you can play them back later. I read an article about this from a guy who says he records every single fishing outing he goes on the entire time. If he runs over a sweet piece of structure he can replay the outing later when he gets home and go back to that piece of structure and mark it with a waypoint. My question is this... does the unit record to its own memory and then later I can transfer it to an SD card, or do I need to have the SD card in to record. I will be using a Lakemaster chip in the unit and if I have to take that out just to be able to record with a blank SD card, it defeats the purpose of having my Lakemaster card.
