I had the same boat and loved it! smile It was a great fishing boat with lots of storage, live well, seating was good and I really liked the deep motor well for out on Mille Lacs when the waves were so big you couldn't see the boat in front of you as the waves went up and down. They don't seem to make to many boats with a deep motor well like that anymore? confused It is a bit of a heavy boat which is good for fishing but not great for trying to pull the wife and kids up on water ski's. So, my wife suggested we get a new boat and I ended up with a new 17.5' Starcraft. I love my wife! grin

Thats funny!! The reason I bought it was wife said i spent too much time fishing on summer weekends, my answer was everyone is always invited but no one comes (wife, ( 6, 5, 20 mo old kids) and also had 14 ft aluminum at the time. Wife said she aint goin in that...and after she suprised me with a nite fishing trip @ eddys last summer (where she caught 18 & 22 inch walleyes) all fall she said it would be nice for whole family go out together...she hooked herself and i had ok to spend little more money for a much better family boat, this is definetly meant for taking 5 & 6 year old boys out fishing in a very safe boat which i think this is. i paid $3000, hope that was a good deal. only needs batteries and hope to add rod holders, bev holders, and update seats. thx for feedback.

    • I did put some runner rugs down the center 😁
    • This team is not going anywhere with  Tom Thibodeau as there coach.
    • Have to agree great game looked real good definitely more aggressive time will tell.
    • Wisconsin's traditional nine-day gun deer hunting season opens this Saturday and with snow in many northern areas and more in the forecast for Friday into Saturday but with otherwise relatively mild hunting conditions it should make for a good opener.Hunters can find all the information they need by searching the DNR HSOforum for keyword "deer." Or new for this year, hunters with mobile devices can download the Hunt Wild Wisconsin mobile app, which provides mapping, shooting hours and easy access to regulations. Hunters can download the app from the DNR HSOforum at keywords "hunt app."Little Manitou Falls at Pattison State Park has begun to ice over. Skim and shelf ice is forming on lakes and some smaller lakes have frozen over.Photo credit: DNRThis is the earliest possible opening of the season and while it is winding down in some areas, rutting activity is still noticeable with bucks visiting their scrapes and rubs and still being seen chasing does. A reminder that hunters must register their deer by 5 p.m. the day after recovery and registration is now easier than ever online, by phone or in person at registration stations. Search the DNR HSOforum for "GameReg," for details. Hunters can get a deer tested for CWD at no cost and can find sampling locations by searching for keywords "CWD Sampling." .
    • It looks great! Throw a few nonslip rugs down.  It's Winter after all! 😋
    • I converted mine to 1 ton Reese 12v winch. Seems to work well with my light weight wheel house.
    • Looks great but cold and slippery, I'm a carpet guy.
    • absolutely 100% yes. Like with the augers though, use a good drill. My Ryobi barely does both sides once on a battery, my Fuel is 1000 times better. It's not recommended to go down with a drill, only up. You'll see all this on Nutz w e b s i t e.
    • I missed it too, the caps always just own us.
