Nick Kuhn
Here's a bronzish/goldish fish. Wonder what this fish looks like in the sunlight. Need to catch it again in about 5 years and find out. Just for comparison to the normal color I get, the other from that day:

50inchpig
we were pretty close to getting a big white upper 40s to eat in the metro a couple years ago, didn't see her last year but maybe i'll run into her again this year.
RiverFish
Did you guys see pictures of the 51 inch Albino Musky caught last fall in Rusk County, WI on the Flambeau River? Cool looking Musky!
guideman
That spotted fish is really different, you don't see many that big with such obvious spots on them, at least no where I fish anyway. That 53 is really a beautiful fish, no matter where you catch it."Ace"

Nick Kuhn
the bottom 2 look like leechers and I don't know what the top 4 are.. anyone have any clear muskies? If you go just across the border to the NW WI lakes, the rule of thumb is the bigger they get the clearer they get. Usually they'll maintain some markings around the tail, but that's about it. Which is interesting because north central WI waters tend to have barred fish, and SE WI has spotted fish. I'll add Cooter's fish too: And Cooter's tiger, which shows WIxPike results in a very different looking fish than LLxpike
goldie11
heres a couple small ones that looked pretty cool
NoWiser
The fish we catch in Canada are typically very light colored with very few markings on them. Nothing too out of the ordinary, but is something I've noticed over the years up there.
Cooter
I have no idea where Kuhn got that fish..... actually I don't but have a pretty good idea! Fish out of Holcombe are gorgeous, lots of Packer green on em! Will be showing pics of leechers from Wissota over here soon....we hope, unless the cats have eaten then all. Are planning on another stocking this fall and then take a year off and see how they are doing. New biologist in the area plus as I'm sure has been mentioned statewide in WI will be going to 40" - hopefully and any support would be awesome, if you know someone in scoonie land ask them to got to the CC meetings and let their voice be heard if they so choose. Hope I didn't hijack the thread! Later
Esox_Magnum
WI needs it, sad such a once great muskie state still has such low lenth limits. Even though I fish Iowa can't argue the quality/
Cooter
Thanks esox - we do need it in a big way and I believe we will get there with MN and other states in the lead.
Nick Kuhn
I have no idea where Kuhn got that fish..... actually I don't but have a pretty good idea! I told you the lake acreage, that should have been enough. It's actually very close to the cabin, it's just I had never caught a fish there in years past, so I really never was a fan of the lake. For whatever reason this year I managed to catch 3 there.
Sherpa
Here is a bronze or gold colored musky I caught. No markings other than that little gash something made in it's side. 43" roughly.
