Iambjm
I have a Dell computer about 8 years old, had the graphics card replaced a couple of years ago. My husband uses this one for just the internet, all of a sudden the screen resolution has set itself to 4 bits and looks like it would if you booted it up in safe mode. Each time I try to reset the resolution to 32 bits it refuses the setting and goes back to the 4 bit setting (I think that is around 480x600). Any ideas? pureinsanity
Off first instinct id say graphics card is shot. Have you reloaded the drivers?
Matt C
Reboot, then reinstall the drivers. If that doesn't work, I'd say the card is capooy.
upnorth
Most likely corrupt drives, reinstall the drivers. Most of the time when a card goes, it really goes. Not to say they never still work a little most the time it is just poof and no video.
