Addicted to new Dehydrator

Recommended Posts

If you like flavored sunflower seeds you will love this.

Go to the dry marinade section of cub and take your pick of the McCormick Grill Mates seasonings.

Use 2 teaspoons of soy sauce and put in a tupperware bowl

Use 2 teaspoons of the McCormick seasoning of your choice

take one cup of Giant brand sunflower seeds

Put the lid on the tupperware and shake for a minute or two

Dump out on the dehydrator and dry for an hour at 160 degrees

You might have to play with the seasoning amounts to get your own level of flavor desired, but its a starting point

I like to dry apples. Here's what I do and they don't last long around here.

We have one of those apple cutters that spiral cut, peel, and core all at once so it is a simple project. Once we run them through I make a cut so I can separate the spirals into rings. Shake the apple rings in a bag with cinnamon and sugar then dehydrate. Makes a great treat.
