pike around Denver?

Recommended Posts

Hey fellas,

I have some really good friends in Denver....they are not really outdoorsman and have definitely never done any tip up fishing. I am hoping to take them to a lake within a few hours of Denver that has some decent northerns in it....does anyone have any suggestions?

I'd suggest Eleven Mile or Williams Fork. There both just over 2 hrs from town.

Rocky Mountain Arsenal is right there and one of the lakes has pike. There are also numerous front range impoundments that hold both northerns and tiger muskie, some less than 30 minutes from downtown
