12 volt chargers - cell phones

Are all chargers the same? Is a T-Mobile branded car charger better quality then the ones you see on the auction site? I hate to pay the going rate locally, but don't want to ruin my phone either.

I have used a bunch of the "cheap" chargers and can't say I have ever had a problem with any of them. When I got my Iphone I right away picked up a couple of the cheap USB charge cord and they work just fine. The rates they charge for OEM stuff is nuts.

I've used both OEM and cheap ones without a problem.

The last one I bought (after getting a different phone) I found a brand new, in the package (Sprint) OEM for 5.99 on the auction site, compared to 24.99 at the store.

Whenever I've needed an extra charger, normally I need it right away, but I get them at target or wally world, they are normally like $11.

I cheaped out lasttime when I needed a car charger so I got one at menards while I was shopping for other things, works fine.

Still using it 1.5 years and going.
