Vet Recommendations-Northwest Metro

Over the weekend my 3 y/o pooch started licking his, well you know. There is some swelling so I'm guessing a urinary tract infection. I assume some antibiotics are in order here.

We've grown tired of the vet we used in the past because she want's to sell us everything from canine life insurance to pet hypnosis therapy. Before she asks whether we want to sign him up for an art class, I need to find an alternative...preferably some "old school", country-style vet who is a no nonsense back to the basics kind of vet.

Anybody have any recommendations in the Osseo, Champlin, Anoka areas who won't gouge a guy with unnecessary treatments?

I use Elm Creek Animal Hospital in Champlin and like them alot. They do a really good job caring for your pet. 2 thumbs up from me!!

The vets at Ramsey Animal Hospital are great and they are the least expensive around....not much of a place to look at but does the job....
