Cliff Lake Information

Does anyone have information on Cliff Lake just north of Vermilion Bay?? I would like to try it for lake trout this summer or possibly this winter. Any information would be appreciated.

Don't know alot about the lake, but from what I hear you can find alot better lake trout lakes alot closer to you.

I am certain there are better trout lakes closer to me. Crow, Whitefish Bay, Caviar, Dogpaw, Kakagi all come to mind. It is not the lake but the adventure. The lake looks very interesting to me and it has pretty easy access. I just know nothing about it. I know the gas station in Vermilion Bay have depth maps on it but I would like some local information to get started.

Nice lake with a good population of trout. I fished it this summer for the first time - caught 10 lakers in one morning up to ten lbs = not bad for my first time on the lake with my wife and 9 year old son. Marked lots of fish in the three spots we fished and caught fish in all three spots. We jigged River2Sea jigging spoons and vibration baits.

You'll never get blown off this lake, from what I saw.
