jdime
Hey all, I am considering picking up a used bow due to my limited budget. Does anyone have any input on a single string "Eagle Aeroforce X80" ??? http://postimage.org/image/sgz8wwdg/
Abndoc
I'm guessing your looking at the one on the big list for $200. Save your money for another 2-4 months and spend around $400. You will find yourself with a very very nice bow in that range!!
jdime
Yeah, I might just save up. The problem is I just want to try it out. I don't want to invest $600 altogether just to try it out.
Archerysniper
Those Onida bows used to be top of the line and actually one of the fastest bows on the market in it's time. I have shot a few of them in the past and liked them a really good shooting bow. The only problem I had with them is they were noisy when those recurve limbs slap down. Code-Man
I'm a very big fan of Mathews but I don't think I would buy a used Mathews. Mathews has a Lifetime warranty but is voided once you sell it to another person. Just a warning. I would save up and get something a little bit better quality so you don't kick yourself for not getting something better and in 2 years buying a better bow. I bought a carry over bow 4 years ago and it was a 60 pound Mathews. I just bought new limbs for my bow so now I have 70 lb limbs I should have bought a 70 right off the get go but thought 60 would have been adequate but I want more speed and power. IF your only going to go for deer/turkey get a 60 lb bow but I don't know if I would buy one without shooting it prior to purchase.
