State Record Bass from the 90's?

I came across this article that I saved from the mid to late 90's and thought it would be worth sharing. I blacked out the lake just in case it is "someone's spot." Some of you probably remember this article. That is a big bass!

It ain't that big of a secret, plus..... I just couldn't resist an easy set up like that.

I'd like to see those original photos on the ruler, 25" maybe, but 27"? That's pushing it, but it could've for sure have beat the state record at the time.
