finnbay
I don't often post shots I take around the house, but yesterday gave me a couple of interesting images. Most years, the evening grosbeaks will be around for a few days in the fall and be long gone before the pines show up. In the spring, it's reversed. This year I've had some evenings show up early and they get to visit with their cousins. Also, have had 3 or 4 resident goldfinches but yesterday there were over 30 at the feeder. No idea why this guy was around. Again, don't usually see them in the spring until there's some open ground and open water. And finally, Not surprised, but happy to see this little fella in the garage. Better than a cat as a mouser! By the way, the weasel was taken in really low light with the 7D at ISO 6400, so a little grain is going to show.
Dbl
I like the tri-color first shot and the weasel looks like he has a nice meal spot!

I take these into the woods and hope to find some weasels there, but he beat me to it!
Swimmer
I seems like the number of "Summer" birds (migratory) at metro open water spots is double the population of other Winters. Climate change or no, I wonder if the slightly colder weather we will get this weekend might be about it for the Winter. I know it seems impossible, and for the folks in Red River Valley (and us ice fishermen) I hope it is, but maybe the critters are telling us something. I like photo 1. MN Shutterbug
That is some colorful action on your feeder. I like the little snow bunting doing the 2 step.
