MN Shutterbug
Mike and I had been talking about getting together ever since we met each other at the bog 3 years ago. This winter we made a real effort. But, between the weather and Mike's busy lifestyle, it's really been tough. I made the trek up to his place on Saturday and expected to make a couple days out of it. Unfortunately, with winds forecast to be up to 60 mph gusts sometime on Sunday, I figured it best to head back south Saturday night. We met around 8:00 A.M. in Fergus and spent about 3/4 hour with the waterfowl. From there we headed to Tamarack NWR. That's where we spent the rest of the day. However, all we saw at this 42,000 acre refuge were 2 deer, 2 pine squirrels, a few crows and a handful of Bohemian Waxwings. Needless to say, we got skunked. Personally, I think the refuge is really too large. It's also heavily forested which makes it much togher to find wildife. We did have a good time and are already making plans for spring during the waterfowl migration.

Swimmer
I like em all, but the first is the best for me. I like the out of focus wing tips...kind of angelic looking.
