My girlfriend has the very first Nook and loves it. Haven't gotten my hands on the any of the newer or color versions, but judging from the updates she keeps getting for hers the new versions are pretty flippin sweet. The last update she got allows her to fully surf the internet and they even added a few games to it. They seem to be trying to compete with the iPad and similar tablets.
