Not camera shy

I used my cell phone's video camera. (HTC EVO)

The weird squiggly lines and fuzzy picture are due to trying to record the picture off the screen. The actual picture is better.

The underwater camera's lights were off when the pike was swimming around. I should have turned them on when he was staring into the camera to see what his reaction would be, if any. smile

Cameras can be quite entertaining when the fish aren't biting and darn near shocking when the pike are biting! I was out over the weekend and had a pike on my camera that just sat and watched my minnow for what seemed like forever. As I grabbed my rod out of the holder to jig my bait he accelerated like he was shot out of a cannon and took off with the minnow, jig, bobber and about 15' of line. It was amazing to watch! Good times even if I didn't catch the fish.

LMITOUT, you weren't playing Barry White in the fish house, by chance, were you? I think that pike had more than a passing interest in your camera... grin

If you look at the picture in my avatar long enough, you'd almost think that he'll start taking to you. Like was said, almost cartoon like or something you'd see on a TV commercial. It was pretty comical watching him stare at the camera for so long.
