Ive turned some reel seats and was wondering when you guys make these do you use the the front or rear grip as the stop depending on which way you want it to lock, up or down. Or do you glue the fixed side down to the wood. Or both? Any help is greatly appreciated. Tips or pics?

It all depends on personal taste. For spinning reels I put the screw section on the bottom and let the foregrip be the stop.

Cruise threw a few of the older threads here and you will see a few peoples work and how they have done things.
