Lipriper84
We are headed up for some Crappie and Walleye action on Rainy Lake in the Northwest Bay, I hear we could also target Lake Trout and have really never tried that. Is it hard to target these fish up there. If anyone has any info on how far you really need to go to find lake trout up there it would be helpful. I don't want to waste my time. OnAFly
When are you headed up? I've heard it's pretty bad up there this year as far as slush goes.
uffdapete
No lake trout in Rainy Lake to speak of, if at all. If you're heading up soon the slush is bad right now, especially in NW Bay. The next week is forecasted to be mild so it will change in some way - probably some water on the ice. Sorry to for all the bad news but it is what it is.
