Free Thoroughbred Horses (52 of them!)

Cut and pasted from another fishing forum. I'm not a horse guy, but it would be a sad waste for these great animals to be slaughtered. The only problem is they are in Ohio, but who's busy in winter anyway? Contact Info to Owner below:

52 thoroughbred horses need homes --will go to Sugarcreek this Saturday for slaughter. Gentleman died and his son wants nothing to do with them. Most broodmares are broke and some are in foal weanling, yearlings, 2 yrs and 3 yrs old most are gelded. FREE and papered. Friend of the deceased is trying to find homes 440-463-4288 or 440-463-4288 Barnesville, OH."

I just read about this earlier today.. so sad! If we had more room, and if our five were more friendly I'd love to help. Winters a hard time to get new horses...
