slimngrizzly
Dandy muskieman! Nice to get him from one year to the next! Nice and fresh with no chews! Hope you get the match too!
muskiemanAD
It was super fresh. You can see his tracks in the snow. I was following him for awhile into his bed...
eyehead
Heres a few Ive found so far. Been a suprisingly good year, even with all the snow. Now to match a few of them up before the squirrels take care of em!
Bass Whacker
I did a lot of walking again today. I didn't find anything till the end of the day other than to many guys out walking the same piece of land. The word must have gotten out since last year when I had the whole place to myself all spring. But on the way back to my truck I tripped over something, and after closer inspection it was a antler that was out there for at least one full year. It had been ran over by a disk multiple times while planting the food plot burying everything but a portion of the main beam. Hopefully I can continue the good luck while I'm back in MN looking next weekend.

slimngrizzly
Just Awesome Muskie!!! It looks like an 80 incher in the first pic! 59 is still one heck of a 4 point! Congrats!

InTheNorthwoods
I went out this weekend for a total of about 5-6 hours between Saturday and Sunday in an area that has a lot of wintering deer and had great success finding 20 antlers/sheds (a couple were "break offs"). I found one set that would probably score in the mid 120's with a 14" spread credit, and the biggest single scored 64". Wish I had more time to search as I know I only scratched the surface. It sure is fun finding sheds like that!
slimngrizzly
Geez Northwoods! Thats a heck of a day in MN! 64" is a big horn! Better look for him next year. Id be spending another 5-6 hours out there for the match!!! Nice Job

certified jumbo
While I didn't find any antlers. Several bucks coming into my feeder have lost there antlers. First dropped sometime before Dec 20th. The other two dropped 24-26th. I'll try to post some pics later.
O.T.C.
Man certified, I have to wait till March, I need a new area and thankful they're not pushing rifle back pushing muzzy back like in your area bucks would be doe tagged etc.
leechlake
the hidden gem of shed hunting is finding places in the Suburbs and hitting them once the snow melts. I haven't done it for years but my percentage of finding sheds was way higher and some pretty good chances of finding some really nice ones. The ambiance isn't as good with all the traffic noise so that part isn't as appealing though. certified jumbo
Here are some pics of bucks from around Christmas time. Got us excited but never found any antlers. Haven't been up north since then. When I get back I'll check chips to see if the rest have dropped. Sorry for quality, they are pics of pics. Camera date is wrong fyi. Kdog10
Went for a drive the other day. Saw over 100 deer (wintering grounds) and not a single one with antlers...
O.T.C.
Should've drove by NYM kdog, just got my camera but I'll admit 1 buck was shed finally. The rest full rakcs.
Sorgy
Those two metro buck that were fighting locked up in February. No where near ready to drop. Definitly not fighting over territory-- They had some doe that was in heat very close by.
pumper317
My folks had a big 10 dogging a doe this week at their house in Ham Lake. I have seen bucks chasing all winter here and their at my house too, with antlers still nicely in tact. They do what they do, when they want.
