Does anyone care at this point? I don't.

The only thing that bothers me is what many of the sportscasters have brought up, that allowing Cam's dad to ask for money is okay. It sets a precedent for all future players to let their parents/relatives ask for money while granting the player immunity.

It's been going on for as long as the college game has been played. As long as the athletic departments let "boosters" get as close to the programs as they do....it will continue to be a problem.

Boosters are much more of a problem to college athletics than agents are.

He will get the heisman, walk away smelling like the fat cat, while the ncaa and everyone else turns their back to this bunk. why not give reggie bush his trophy back since it is ok. i am so done with the garbage.

I would give Reggie his Heisman back...he WAS the best player IMO.

I guess the message is that if it doesn't impact the NCAA's $$$ generation, you get the full probe (Reggie Bush). If it might impact $$$ generation (Cam Newton not in the BCS title game), they let it all slide.

If Auburn did anything wrong (or their boasters) they'll pay in the long run...any championships won will be taken away, newton's heisman taken away, no bowl games, scholarship reductions, even coaches losing their jobs.

Up until Boise State lost I was rooting for Auburn to lose, now it doesn't really matter to me.

I wish there was a playoff system so the boise states and tcu could get blown out like they would. I dont believe newton didnt know what poppa was doing.
