One of my buddies has the same sled but an older one. Does yours have the High/low gear for pulling? huntercj
The snowmobile is a 2018 550 lx widetrak it has high and low range. I get new widetraks every winter. I have been running 600 widetraks in the past. This is my first fan cooled snowmobile . I was worried about the power but it pulls my alumalite easily. leech~~

Your pictures above with glare ice is the very reason I will always use fan cooled sleds for ice fishing.
huntercj
The 600 and 800 polaris widetraks have a radiator and a fan they will run with no snow without over heating.

I'm sure all the new 4 strokes will work as well as a fan in low snow.

How do you tie that thing down on the trailer? Edited December 2, 2017 by leech~~
knoppers
I just use straps, they seem to hold plenty good for the wheeler, so the sled should be fine, I do use the parking brake also. leech~~
