Humminbird ICE 35 wont shut off

I recently charged up the battery and tested my ICE 35 in anticipation of heading out on the ice soon. It turned on fine but remains running when you turn the knob to the off position, and won't shut off until I disconnect the battery. Anyone else had this issue? Is there a fix, or did you have to get a replacement unit?

Mine did that once also a few weeks ago when I charged the battery and tested to be sure it still worked. I left the battery unhooked for a few minutes and it was fine after that.I just went and tried it again before posting this just to be sure.

Mine did that too but didnt have any colors flashing. But you could hear it running, the colors didnt work when turned on either. I needed to send it in too get a board replaced. Same thing happened to my brothers. Customer service was awesome and I still love the unit!!!

I unhooked the battery and am letting it sit for awhile, I'll try it again tonight. Hopefully it is just a one time glitch. I fished with it last season and love the unit, and I really do not want to have to replace it.

Tested the unit again and it still will not turn off. I bought it at Gander Mountain and called them and they told me I had to work directly with Humminbird which sucks...

Jigging Joe - who did you work with you get yours fixed?
