Ice House Hole Camera

Has anyone every used their trail camera mounted over a spear hole to take pics when not in the house ? Just a thought that I should let go. I've taken pics with camera before out a window and in house down hole so I'm going to give it a try. Should be interesting to see what goes by when not there. Not sure motion detection will work. Anyone have suggestions.

Ya the motion detection might be an issue... how about attaching a streamer or flag... something to the decoy or bait string so when its hit it will give off enough motion to trigger the camera...? I wouldnt think it will go off with just the fish swimming up... great idea though...try it!

Just make sure your trail cam doesn't use heat and motion to set it off. The cheaper cameras seem to use just motion.
