CodyDawg
Does anyone have either types of these? I am thinking about buying a pair and just cannot make up my mind.
BRULEDRIFTER
I would think that would be a no-brainer.... Filson has been making quality clothing for how long??? I've had a pair of Filson woollies for a lot of years and I don't see them dieing anytime soon. Most stuff I buy from Cabelas/Gander is junk in no time. Go with Filson! Ufatz
Amen. A no brainer. Filson stuff is as good as it gets. You'll give out before the pants do! Ha!!
Nate McVey
Never owned a pair of Filson's, but I do wear a pair of Cabela's. I've had them for 5 years now and they've seen CO for elk, U.P. for whitetail and cold ice fishing days in MN. No complaints and would highly recommend them. sticknstring
I've got some Wilson camo bibs and those babies are warm and tough. They only get used in December when bowhunting conditions get nasty. They're spendy but will outlast me I'm sure.
89Bronco
I know, I know, you asked for Filson vs. Cabela's. If it's just between those two and money is no object I would choose Filson. However, the best wool pants I've ever had come from the Bemidji Woolen Mills. Look them up. I wear them icefishing, deer hunting, snowshoeing, rabbit hunting, late-season football games, etc. They are heavy-duty. If I remember right...it's been so long ago...if you are in their store, they will measure you up and make them to fit you. Good luck with whatever you choose.
