Columbia River walleye guide?

Recommended Posts

I'm going to Portland for a week mid July and was thinking about getting out for a little fishing. Anybody know a guide they would recommend?

This water is on my short list, please report back with the guide and results when you get back. I wish I could help you but all I can say is call some of the local baitshops out there and see what they recommend.

Was reading an article about the columbia river and they were with a guide named Jason Schultz. Apperently he is a master at hauling in some real hawg walleyes. Worth checking into at least I'd think.

If you want to take a break from the eyes, hook up with a guy named Sturgeon Frank and go after some of the 9-10' white sturgeon. We go out every other year and it is something to haul in a 400-500 lb fish.

Jack and Brandon Glass (Hookup guide service), or Fly By Nyte guide service with Touche, depending on how close you want to stay to Portland.
