Scott M
In the old days he would have really gotten up for a game like this. Today I finally changed my mind and do believe they got rid of Santana at the right time. The guy doesn't have it any more, he's a fat and happy multi-millionaire with his name in the tabloids.I really thought he would chew up and spit out his old ball club. Coach1310
I didn't have a big issue with them getting rid of him, but the way it looks, we sure didn't get much. Hopefully Guerra pans out as that is about all we have to show for it... I suppose you could say we have Hardy too, but who's he? Is he even on the roster anymore
harvey lee
Yes, it was sad to see such a great pitcher at one time stink it up.Oh well, we won.

mrklean
just looking at his stats since we got rid of him he hasnt done as well. now if only we could have gotten players that were worth a darn for him
Big Dave2
just looking at his stats since we got rid of him he hasnt done as well. now if only we could have gotten players that were worth a darn for him I dont know about that. His numbers so far this year are very similar to his last year in Minnesota. ERA alittle over 3 and about a .500 record. During the broadcast Bert stated that he was probably TOO pumped up for the game and that is why he gave up so many runs in the 1st but he settled down for the rest of the game. harvey lee
I do believe that Santana could still make the Twins pitching roster.
