New Boat Owner

I picked up a used 14'er with a 15hp motor. Do I have to have a throwable float, or is that for boats over 16'.

Legally- you only need one if the boat is 16' or longer, but it's not a bad idea to have an extra boat cushion in the boat 'cuz ya never know when you/another boater might need one-they're nice to sit on as well
