Spade
I will be in Iowa this weekend. I will be down there by Red Rock Dam. But was wondering if anyone knew any places where it would be biting Stripers right now but more north of Iowa before hitting Des Moines? which lake. I can join the HSO club and we can PM each other. JIvers
This time of year, the white bass and wipers (strictly speaking, there are no stripers, AKA striped bass in Iowa, just white bass and the striped bass/white bass hybrid), should still be hanging below the dams along current seams, although they may be moving downriver soon, at which point they're harder to find. Throw something that looks like a shad out and you'll probably find them in the spillways.
