cliffy
I recently bought a sled from a friend. I now need to get the sled registered. What documentation do I need to bring with me to the DMV to get this done? I will be registering the sled in MN. Thanks.Cliffy
jwmiller33
probably some sort of bill of sale. if you dont have one, you and your friend should just write one up. its pretty easy.
cliffy
That is what I was thinking...just doing a bill of sale but I was not sure if there was anything else needed. Thanks for your help.Cliffy
Macgyver55
It says on the back of the owner registration card that an application for transfer must be filed with a bill of sale within 15 days of the sale.
cliffy
Geezzzz. Just came from the DMV...all they asked for was the registration card. No bill of sale or anything else. That is by far the least amount of time I have ever spent in the DMV when registering a vehicle, boat..etc. Simple.
