Fished this past weekend with mixed results.... Got a late start THURSDAY, so did not get out there intime to fish... FRIDAY was tough, with 35+mph winds... made boat control very tough. Fished mostly in the Ft. Thompson area from 8am till about 4pm... boated 5 fish, one keeper 18.5". Fished mostly the backwater area around the dam. Saw a few other fish caught, most were 18" plus. Water temps there were around 45.2. ... wind let up, so we ran to the Crow Creek area, water temps there were around 39.5 ... Landed 15 fish in about 2 hours there, no keepers.. all about 14.5". SATURDAY, weather was great, put in at Chamberlain, and made the run up to Crow Creek again. Got our limit of keepers, all but 2 were saugers, with a couple over 17". Caught around 60 fish total, so a lot of sorting. Did not fish in sunday..... We found most fish to be biting in 35-40 fow. Using 3/8 oz. fireball jigs... Slow trolling, keeping jigs vertical was a must!!!

Good luck!

It was a little slow for us, but we managed to catch our fish each day. Ran up to Ft. Thompson on Saturday and did real well catching about 50/50 walleye/Smallies
