so haaad
What are your favorite ski resorts that you've skied or snowboarded? I love the double-black stuff - steeps, trees, rocks, etc. Here's my top three:1. Snowbird, UT - The best snow is in Utah. Great steeps too.2. Crested Butte, CO - Lots of steep terrain. I used to live nearby, so I'm a little biased on this one.3. Jackson Hole, WY. - As the younger generations would say, it's extreme. The backcountry accessibility and terrain are both amazing. fisherking01
Big sky MT, no lines, no lines, no lines, and lots of variety. Jackson hole, ok, more lines, more snobbish people. Bridger , nice area! good variety for a small resort!
Redlantern
Been a long time since I went to Montana skiing but out of the three resorts I went to on that trip, Big Sky, Bridger and Red Lodge, I thought Bridger was the best. Of course getting a fresh foot of powder helped.
hanronson
Indianhead, Lutsen and Spirit Mt. in that order. I've never been out west, someday though.
DT08
I'll second (or 3rd) Big Sky. No lift lines and thanks to the Tram, great terrain. I also love more local out of the way places like Bridger, Big Mountain in Whitefish (called something else now) and Powder Mountain north of Salt Lake City. Nate McVey
Indianhead, Lutsen and Spirit Mt. in that order. I've never been out west, someday though. While in high school my mom worked at Indianhead. Out of the 3 resorts up there (Powderhorn, Blackjack and Indianhead), I like Indianhead the best also. perchking
My first would be Arapahoe Basin Summit county, I know Vail is snobbish but I think their wide variety of terrain is great. I lived in Breckenridge for 3 years but only skied it when I didn't have money for Gas or didn't wake up in time for shuttle.
