I went to the DNR site and did some digging.
It states that all plants found in public waters are the property of the state,(no big surprise)!! Anyway, you are not allowed to transplant them, but are allowed to gather
them for personal use,without getting a permit. So it looks like my little sunnies will have a little peice of home to swim
around in........
